Florence-Darlington Technical College Sponsors Annual Ethics Debate
Florence-Darlington Technical College held its annual Ethics Forum with a panel discussion and debate on Monday, March 9, 2006 at the College's Health Science Campus in downtown Florence. Andrew Kampiziones, Instructor of Philosophy, was the moderator. Kampiziones founded the debates to raise explore important issues.
Panelists include: Dr. Albert J. (Joe) Baroody, Pastoral Counselor, who discussed physician assisted suicide; Dr. Latrell Fowler, FDTC Nursing Instructor, on health care; Dr. Myers Hicks, Physician, also discussing health care; Dr. Clifford Dale Lusk, Physician, discussing bio-ethics; Dr. Charles Muse, FDTC Vice-President of Academic Affairs, discussing social issues; James M. Rutan, Chaplain/ Bereavement Counselor, discussing home health and hospice issues and Col. Barry Wingard, U.S. Army Reserve, who discussed the war on terrorism (Col. Wingard recently returned from Afghanistan).
