FDTC Educational Foundation Sponsors Annual Golf Tournament
Golfers playing in the Florence-Darlington Technical College Educational Foundation Golf Classic and Corporate Challenge couldn’t have asked for better weather, Friday, September 29, 2006. Nearly 30 teams competed in the fourth annual benefit for the FDTC Educational Foundation at Traces Golf Club.
Golfers warmed up with a putting contest with George Dodge taking home the grand prize of a new Blackberry. After a barbeque lunch, the nearly teams hit the links, including the generational team of Dr. Mike Welch, his two sons and grandson Arthur Rabon Siegel. Arthur Rabon is three years old and the College Classic is his first tournament.
The foursome from Crown Beverage won the Corporate Challenge and bragging rights until next year. FDTC Team Number three won the College Classic.
Little Arthur Rabon Siegel tees off in the fourth annual Florence-Darlington Technical College Educational Foundation's Golf Classic and Corporate Challenge. Arthur Rabon joined his father, uncle and grandfather to play as a team.
