MACHINE TOOL AND DIE

CERTIFICATE: Certificate in Machine Tool and Die

Provide students with the skills needed to build and repair tooling and dies commonly used in manufacturing companies and to prepare them for entry level positions in material forming and molding businesses.

This one year-certificate builds on existing machine tool experience to include surface forming, finishing and structural elements of dies. The students will produce a blanking , compound , and progressive die to blue print specifications.

PREREQUISITES FOR ENTRANCE

NOTE:  A grade of "C" or better is required for each prerequisite course.
