and exciting, from delivering babies and assisting in cosmetic surgery, to organ procurement and
open heart surgery.
Graduates of our Surgical Technology program work at several area hospitals in the
Pee Dee region, including McLeod Health, Carolinas Hospital Systems, Carolina Pines,
Grand Strand, among other facilities and physician offices. The Association of Surgical
Technologist (AST) reports the mean salary for Certified Surgical Technologist is $32,000.
