Small Business Management
Graduates of the Small Business Management program are equipped to either start up their own businesses or to become managers/supervisors for local businesses or national chains.
Most retailers, for example, have management development programs in which its employees can learn, work and climb the corporate supervision ladder. Graduates are equipped, by the
end of this program, to write a business plan which can be used in acquiring necessary financing and setting business objectives. Salaries range from $20,000 - $37,000.
This program focuses on management with an emphasis on small business management. Students are taught planning, staffing, organizing, directing, and controlling techniques necessary for careers in management. No accounting course may be taken more than two (2) times.
Retail Merchandising Certificate
This certificate program is designed to prepare students for job opportunities with retail and wholesale organizations in buying, fashion and styling coordination, advertising, publicity, sales and market supervision.
