Basic Content
Prerequisite: Successful completion of basic GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
Specific Deliverables
The Student develops the skills needed to make fillet welds and groove welds, both single and multiple pass on ¼" to 3/8" mild steel plate.
The Student must successfully complete
- Several visual tests
- A guided bend test on 3/8" steel in the overhead and vertical up positions.
