Job Description
Minimum of 6 years of experience in cabinetmaking. Advanced knowledge of cabinet making processes and products related to hospitality and residential furniture. Fabricate complex high quality furniture and other wood-surfaced sub-assemblies using stationary and hand-held tools. Interpret material specifications and design/engineering drawings to ensure finished product meets design and engineering requirements with a high level of quality and detail. Coordinates with management to ensure compliance with customer approved design samples. Complies with standard housekeeping to create safe environment in the model shop. Mentor and train lesser skilled technicians and monitor their work to ensure they complete assigned tasks in accordance with required levels of safety, quality and productivity. Ability to work with many different materials such as solids, panel stock, laminates, polyesters, glass, melamine, and metals while thinking about the ability to finish and trim. Ability to read standard and metric units of measure. Hands tools provided by company.
