Please join the Florence-Darlington Technical College's Welding Sculpture Competition sponsored by ESAB Welding and Cutting Products as we partner with Francis Marion University Arts International to be held on April 20, 2013. The event will be held on FMU's campus and the sculpture competition will be located behind the Smith Center which is in the heart of the campus. Teams of experienced craftsmen will have just eight hours to create a breathtaking piece of art, using only a pile of scrap material. So save the date. You'll never look at metal the same way again. The final artwork will be auctioned off to raise funds for Welding Scholarships at FDTC.
