FDTC's Hartsville Campus provides post-secondary public education in various disciplines. The primary responsibility of the site is to service the surrounding communities with affordable, comprehensive and technical education emphasizing curriculum and continuing education courses.

The Hartsville Campus was opened on June 13, 1990. It was moved to its current location in September 1996 when it purchased the building from CP&L. This Site provides regular lecture and distance learning classrooms, a computer lab with Internet accessibility, a resource lab, EMT labs, an Allied Health Lab, business and industry training, enrollment services, and a meeting space for conferences.

Testing Times for Hartsville Site

All tests are by appointment only:

Monday through Thursday during business hours (8:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m.)

Friday’s testing begins at 8:30 a.m. Any testers arriving after 8:30 a.m. will not be allowed to test.

Testing FAQ's

  1. What if I cannot test during the stated testing times?

    You must speak with the Director to gain approval for testing outside of normal testing periods.

  2. Do I need an appointment?

    Yes, you may make an appointment by speaking to staff at the front desk or call to schedule.

  3. Can I show up after the stated testing time and still test?

    No, tests begin at the stated times; you will have to reschedule to test.

  4. Can I take more than one test during my appointment?

    Yes, please indicate this when you sign up for a test.

  5. Why is the testing procedure structured this way?

    The Hartsville site has limited testing space and must ensure testing times are organized so that all students can complete their required testing.
