Faculty Senate

The mission of the Faculty Senate is to represent faculty interests in the governance of Florence Darlington Technical College, to promote communication and develop positive working relationships with the administration, to advance effective instruction, to insure academic freedom, to promote student success, and to maintain professional standards.

Here you can find find links to the bylaws of the Faculty Senate, minutes of the Senate meetings, current Senate members, as well as a link to an agenda item request/faculty concern form. Anyone can complete an agenda request/faculty concern form. You can submit this anonymously if you choose. Faculty Senate will review requests to determine if the issue is relevant to its purposes. If so, we will include the issue on the agenda for discussion and research. Faculty Senate may forward agenda request items to another section of the college if appropriate.
