  • What requirements are there for Loans?

    Complete our Loan Request on the forms page to notify us how you want the loan awarded.  Prior to receiving a loan you must complete the Master Promissory Note and Loan Entrance Counseling at www.studentloans.gov. Prior to graduating, withdrawing or dropping to less than half time enrollment you must complete the Loan Exit Counseling at www.studentaid.gov.

  • Can I use excess funds to purchase books?

    If your financial aid award is more than your tuition, then you can use the extra funds to purchase books in the FDTC Bookstore. You can make the purchase starting two weeks before courses begin through the first couple weeks of class.

  • How do I get my refund?

    If your financial aid award is more than your tuition and bookstore purchases, then your refund will be sent to BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. You will receive information from BMTX, Inc. explaining your options for disbursement. For more information, visit this link: https://bankmobiledisbursements.com/how-it-works/.

  • How will withdrawing affect my financial aid?

    Prior to withdrawing from one or more classes, you should speak with the financial aid staff to find out how the withdrawal will impact your financial aid for the current semester and next semester.
