DESCRIPTION:McLeod Health will be hosting a Youth Apprenticeship Information Session in collaboration with FDTC's CWD Department and Apprenticeship Carolina. McLeod will be selecting a limited number of high school Junior/Seniors, ages 16+ to become their 2025 Youth Apprentices. This is a highly competitive program and students will be expected to submit an application, a cover letter, a resume, and references to be considered for an interview. Those selected by McLeod Health will begin their training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant with FDTC starting the Summer 2025 session and upon successfully completing the program, students will sit for the National Nurse Aide certification. After certification, students will have the opportunity to work as a paid CNA (Medical Surgical Technician) at McLeod while completing their high school studies.
