The Florence-Darlington Technical College Educational Foundation is forever grateful to donors who support the College and most importantly, our hardworking students each year. Your support is critical in helping Florence-Darlington Technical College continue to provide quality education and technical training that drives our local workforce and economic development.
The FDTC Educational Foundation was formed in 1978 and is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit with the South Carolina Secretary of State's Office. The Educational Foundation is a separate entity from the College, but exists solely for the benefit of Florence-Darlington Technical College and FDTC students. The Educational Foundation acquires its funding from charitable contributions from businesses, industries, civic and professional groups, other foundations, alumni, and individuals.
The FDTC Educational Foundation supports the College's mission and goals by:
- Raising funds from private sources to provide scholarships and other support needed by students
- Enhancing the quality of education through acquisition of state-of-the-art instructional equipment
- Funding special capital projects and facilities
- Acquiring support for other special projects aligned with the College's Strategic Plan
Our Mission
The mission of the Florence-Darlington Technical College Educational Foundation is to support the College with student scholarships and learning resources in its efforts to provide technical education that promotes workforce development in our region.
The Foundation aides the College’s mission through philanthropic support, community engagement, and business relationships.
General
