Following on the heels of another successful Welding Sculpture Competition, the third semester students at the Advanced Welding and Cutting Center built a trailer and donated it to industry partner NUCOR Steel of Darlington County, Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Welding Center Director Jamie King says he and his students wanted to thank NUCOR for their donations of steel and expertise. FDTC President Dr. Ben Dillard was on hand to congratulate the welding students. The trailer also features the College’s logo molded into steel.
