Wells Fargo Donates Big Gift to The Foundation

Florence-Darlington Technical College President Dr. Ben Dillard is proud to announce that the college has received the biggest gift possible from one of its supporters. Dr. Dillard said the $50,000 gift from Wells Fargo Bank to the FDTC Educational Foundation demonstrates “Wells Fargo’s generosity and its belief in the mission of Florence-Darlington Tech!” The gift will support the foundation’s major gifts campaign to fund scholarships for students.  

“Wells Fargo is pleased to continue its support of Florence-Darlington Technical College,” said Wells Fargo Pee Dee Market President Jack Marchette. “The success of students is a critical element in keeping our communities strong and prosperous, and Wells Fargo is committed to providing them with every possible resource to achieve long-term success.” 

Foundation Executive Director Jill Lewis said, “We are so grateful to our friends at Wells Fargo. This is the fourth year in a row they have shown their commitment to our students and higher education.”

Wells Fargo National Director for Business Advisory Services John Bankson said, “We are honored to work together with Florence-Darlington Technical College to help create a competitive workforce and a sustainable economy for generations to come."
