Tests of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is the college's Nursing Entrance examination. Effective June 3, 2022, Florence-Darlington Technical College offers the 7th edition of TEAS. The Nursing Department and the Assessment Center have collaborated for students to test in the Assessment Center. The Assessment Center only proctors the TEAS test. The tests are offered on an appointment basis only and are offered on the following dates and times:
Monday - Thursday (4 slots available)
Additional times will be available during peak season (s).

TEAS testing is not scheduled on Fridays.
Requirements for Testing:
- Testing is facilitated on the FDTC main campus in the 100 building, room #112
- Students are required to set up an account on the ATItesting.com website prior to their testing appointment
- The cost of the exam is $65 plus tax ($70.20) payable day of testing via debit/credit card only
- A State Photo ID is required for testing
