    The IT Business Analyst function within Nuclear Information Technology serves as the primary interface between site business groups and Nuclear Information Technology. A Business IT Analyst is responsible for understanding the work processes of the business groups and evaluating and integrating IT products and services into the business area to meet business needs or business process improvements. The Business IT Analyst is responsible for overall customer satisfaction, problem resolution assistance, and development and adherence to service level agreements. IT Business Analyst is responsible for IT representation on the business area’s steering teams, quality improvement teams, continuous improvement teams, and working groups. Knowledge of Nuclear Site Processes and organization is desirable. Responsibilities & Duties\: •Possesses knowledge of the business environment and processes of assigned groups and their associated computer applications. •Ensures a high level of overall customer satisfaction. •Develops and monitors service level agreements between business groups and Information Technology service providers. •Possesses a broad knowledge of available IT tools currently used to meet business requirements. •Works in partnership with business groups to assess IT needs and assist with planning and budgeting •Develops and addresses specific computer training needs in conjunction with the site Training group. •Evaluates various business problems and recommends solutions utilizing current computer technology while judging the strategic value of the solution. •Serves as primary interface between IT service providers and business groups. •Works in partnership with application developers to ensure application pre-testing, change monitoring, implementation etc. prior to delivery to the site. •Communicates frequently face-to-face with business managers and key I/T contacts on status of IT projects affecting their business •Develops business case in accordance with I/T Solution Delivery and Lifecycle process •Analyzes the internal processes of business groups and suggests improvements through the application of technology (Business Process Improvement). •Participates in 24hr/7day duty coverage •Stays Abreast of current Technology Trends and Solutions •Participates in the Nuclear Emergency Response Organization
