Returned Checks

All returned checks will have a $30.00 return check fee added to the student account.  Any returned checks not paid within the specified 10-day time period will be turned over to the authorities for legal action. Payments are due in full. No partial payments will be accepted.

Payment Plan

FDTC students can set up a payment plan to help manage tuition payments. To set up a payment plan online students should visit or they can visit our Business Office to receive in-person assistance.

The payment plan balance is payable in two equal payments on dates determined according to the academic calendar and included in the contract by the Business Office. There is a $30.00 non-refundable handling fee to set up the payment plan.

A $25.00 late fee will be applied for each payment not received by the due date listed on the payment plan agreement signed by the student. The student's account will be frozen for any further activity until the account is brought current and any future registrations will be cancelled and all transcripts will be held.

10 Week – 8 Week

1st Payment Plan: Tuesday, June 18, 2024
2nd Payment Plan: Thursday, July 18, 2024

Summer 2024 tuition is due May 6, 2024. Beginning April 26th until June 11, 2024 payment plans may be set up.

Financial Aid

We strongly encourage all students to contact Financial Aid at the beginning of your application process as any aid you receive may be applied to the cost of tuition.

In the event the Financial Aid received is not enough to cover tuition costs, the student must pay their balance by the due date. Any balance of awarded aid that is not used for tuition may be used in the FDTC bookstore to purchase books and supplies. Funds not used to offset book and tuition charges will be disbursed to the student.

Financial Aid Application

Tuition may be paid by sponsoring businesses and/or individuals. These arrangements vary according to the sponsor. Generally the student will deliver a letter of guarantee from the sponsor to the FDTC Business Office. Contact the Business Office for more information.
