Overview

This program trains auto-body technicians in the use of equipment and materials used in the auto-body repair industry. The study of unibody, structure repair, sheet metal repair, welding spot repair, estimating and refinishing are covered. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in the auto-body repair industry. The collision industry offers attractive benefits and more than competitive wages.

Graduates can work in new and used car dealers, independent shops, franchised shops. Collision Repair Industry surveys show there is a shortage of quality entry-level body technicians. Average salary is $42,268.
