Policy Description

It is the policy of Florence-Darlington Technical College to develop and implement articulation agreements with secondary institutions, four-year institutions, and with business and industry training programs. The purpose of such agreements is to assist the student in achieving his/her educational objectives through formal recognition of acquired skills, competencies and knowledge. Additionally, these agreements will minimize unnecessary duplication of time and effort, and provide for better utilization of instructional resources.

Note: Area Commission Policy 10-01 grants the Florence-Darlington County Commission for Technical Education legal authority for the general administration of Florence-Darlington Technical College.
