Policy Description

It is the policy of the Florence-Darlington Technical College Area Commission to encourage and support the college faculty and staff in their efforts to provide responsive, accessible, innovative, and learner-focused technical education. The delivery includes several modalities: online, broadcast, blended/hybrid, hyflex/virtual, and other delivery models that foster student learning and access. The Area Commission promotes the overall goal of making learning accessible in a manner that provides opportunities anywhere, at any time, and in any place. The Area Commission expects that students in all distance education settings have access to the student support services delivered at the main campus.
