50-15 Time Limits on Academic Credits

Policy Description

It is the policy of Florence-Darlington Technical College to strive for educational excellence by delivering course work that reflects current business and industry practices and technology. We recognize that students may be returning to college with credit hours earned several years ago based on technology or business practices that are no longer relevant. The faculty and administration of Florence-Darlington Technical College will establish standards to be followed in determining the relevance of learning from prior course work. These standards may be used to establish time limits on the credits earned in prior learning experiences.
