Procedure Description

PURPOSE

The purpose of this procedure is to establish the grade point average required for academic honors designated on the transcript upon graduation.

PROCEDURE

Graduation Honors: Cum Laude 3.50-3.75

Magna Cum Laude 3.76-3.95

Summa Cum Laude 3.96-4.00

These are cumulative grade point averages (GPA) required for the academic honors designation on the official student transcript. The grade point average for only the major courses (by prefix) may be considered for other academic honors but not for the overall graduation honors designation on the official student transcript.
