This interactive workshop is designed to help students better understand the connection between stress, mental wellness, and academic success. College students often face multiple academic, social, and personal stressors that can impact concentration, motivation, and overall performance. This session will provide students with practical tools to recognize stress, understand its effects on the brain and learning, and apply healthy coping strategies that promote resilience and well-being.
The workshop combines discussion, reflection activities, and practical strategies that students can immediately apply in their daily routines. Participants will leave the session with a personalized self-care plan designed to support their mental health and academic persistence. Student Support Component
Following the presentation, participants will have access to free individual counseling sessions. These one-on-one sessions provide additional support for students who would like personalized guidance in managing stress, strengthening coping strategies, and implementing their self-care plans.
