Florence-Darlington Technical College (FDTC) is proud to announce a new partnership with QuickStart, a nationally recognized leader in IT and cybersecurity training, to offer flexible, online bootcamps designed to prepare students for high-demand careers in the tech industry.

These accelerated, career-focused programs are built to meet the needs of working adults, career changers, and recent graduates alike. Bootcamp tracks include Cybersecurity, Software Engineering (Front End and Back End), Data Analytics & Visualization, and IT Support.

“This partnership helps us bring high-quality, industry-aligned training to our students and community,” FDTC Vice President of Workforce and Continuing Education Dr. Rhonda Johns said. “It’s an exciting step forward in providing relevant, accessible career pathways that meet the demands of today’s digital world.”

The bootcamps are offered 100% online and include real-world projects, one-on-one mentorship, and job preparation resources, giving learners the skills they need to pursue in-demand roles in fast-growing fields, even without a four-year degree.

“As a college deeply committed to workforce development, we’re always looking for innovative ways to serve our region,” Johns said. “These bootcamps offer an excellent option for those ready to start or pivot into a tech career with confidence.”

FDTC alumni, current students, and community members are encouraged to explore these flexible learning options. Registration begins on July 1 with new cohorts launching throughout the year.

Participants can also take advantage of multiple payment options, including monthly plans, discounts for upfront payment, and access to workforce development grants and military education benefits.
